Join us for our twice weekly tours to the beautifully restored Light Station and take a step back in time to learn about an important period in California history. Our tours are docent led and are a fun experience for the whole family!

We currently offer tours on Wednesdays at noon and 1 pm and on Saturdays at noon, 1pm, and 2pm. Tours are year round.

To take the tour, please purchase tickets at the bottom of this page. Guests need to board our trolley in order to visit the lighthouse. The trolley is located at Wild Cherry Canyon parking area.

Tours are one and a half hour.

Please make note, the only way to visit the lighthouse is with the trolley, with the Pecho Coast trailguides on a guided hike, or you can kayak out to Lighthouse Beach and walk up. There is no vehicle access for the general public, nor are there tours offered on days other than Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please arrive fifteen minutes before your tour time. The trolley will leave on the hour.

Please make note that the lighthouse is committed to being a smoke free environment. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property.

Please do not stop on the track where the gate closes. The Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers are not responsible for any vehicle damage caused by drivers stopping on the gate track.
