Event Center / Duplex
The Lighthouse Event Center was the original site of a Victorian duplex that housed the First and Second Assistant Keepers and their families.
1960-- The original Victorian 2 story duplex was burned and the remains (mostly the brick foundations) pushed over the bluff and into the bay to make way for the wood framed West Duplex.
Looking toward the ocean, you can see the stage area where weddings, concerts and other events are held to raise funds for the upkeep and renovation of the Lighthouse and grounds. In the past, this was the site for a garden and even a lookout tower during World War II.
