Take Tour of Point SLO with Marlin Stebbins!

Take a tour of the Point San Luis Lighthouse back in 1996. Marlin Stebbins was the caretaker of the Point San Luis Lighthouse from 1989 to 2010. He and his wife, Nina, raised their family in the caretaker cottage next to the lighthouse.

Marlin’s tour includes the lighthouse before it was renovated by the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers, a non-profit which took over management of the site. It also includes a look at the Coast Guard duplex constructed in 1961, and the historic fog signal room from 1890. Marlin passed away on December 3, 2010.
